copy2.jpgUse sentences that are varying in length say a medium one then a short one to the longest ones last. Equal length sentences make for a robot-like job that is boring and useless. Go into specifics when you think it would allow you to convey the information better to your reader without overdoing it. Use bold word sets and avoid weak ones that seems you are trying to se if the person is interested, you have to get their interest for its you’re job! It would also be a good idea to check if your sentences work together, avoid going left in the first sentence, right the next and up or down with the last ones. Unify your work into one solid information packed but concise set of words that are bold and effective. It would also be nice to check your work for typo’s, even experts born with keyboards in their hands make mistakes!

Having a good resume is all good and well, but what a resume does is simply provide a prelude, an introduction to what you’re capable of. It’s up to employers if they see any potential in it or not. When giving out resumes, try to attach some of the best advertising campaigns you feel you’ve worked on. A demo reel or a portfolio of print advertisements will do; it doesn’t have to be really extensive, just enough for the employer to see what exactly your work is like. Showing your work also gives insight about how you work and what your style is, allowing employers to see how they might be able to use you in their company. Having actual samples of work are a good supplement to an already impressive resume.
