They are more than your regular resumes, adding a touch of flair to the more than boring standard ones you see from day to day. They also advertise your creativity which is what you are all about. Be unique and experiment with your portfolio that would speak for you even without a single word spoken to such effect. Just be sure to make it clear and direct, not too embellished enough to sidetrack your ultimate goal of landing a job.
When interviewed, show or tell why you made such a resume and discuss you successes in your career so you get your work to speak for you. Be honest and frank but always courteous in your answers, mind your body language as well. But don’t worry too much, job hunting is like fishing, you win some you lose some, and sometimes you get the big one that gets away, but “just keep swimming” as the cartoon fish always said.
